The Union Government has sanctioned funds for two road projects in Madhya Pradesh on March 13, 2022. These include the Ujjain-Badnawar Four Laning Road Project (SH-18): Funds worth Rs 13.52 billion have been allocated for the project. It involves four laning of 69.1 km long Ujjain-Badnawar road stretch from 29.6 km to 96 km. It is being implemented on a hybrid annuity mode (HAM).The second project is the Indore-Edlabad Maharashtra Border Four Laning Road Project: Funds worth Rs 11.62 billion have been allocated for the project. It involves four laning of a 203 km long Indore-Edlabad section of the NH-347BG in Indore and Khargone.
