A total of nine firms have submitted bids for implementation of the package II of Saharanpur Bypass-Ganeshpur Six Laning Road Project on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. These include Bharat Constructions (India) Private Limited, Ceigall India Limited, Gaaneshkartikey Construction Private Limited, Gawar Construction Limited, Krishna Constellation Private Limited, M G Contractors Private Limited, OJSC Euro Asian Construction Corporation, Som Projects Private Limited and Varindera Constructions Limited. Bids for the same were issued in January 2022.
Package II involves six laning of 18.47 km long road stretch connecting Saharanpur bypass to Ganeshpur on the National Highway (NH)-344 and 307 at an estimated cost of Rs 4,958.5 million.
The completion period and maintenance period of the work is two years and ten years respectively.
The project is being implemented under phase I of Bharatmala Pariyojana on Delhi-Dehradun Economic corridor in the state of Uttarakhand.
