The construction work on Saristabad-Nathupur Four Lane Greenfield Road Project (NH-83, NH-30) is likely to commence by January 2024.
Besides, about Rs 6,000 million is required for land acquisition and land has been acquired in Saristabad of Patna Municipal Corporation, Pakdi Mauza of Kurthoul Panchayat and Nathupur Mauza of Chilbili Panchayat. Patna district administration is paying the compensation.
The construction and maintenance period for the work is 1.5 years and 5 years respectively.
The project involves construction of 3.91 km long road connecting Saristabad (Patna) of National Highway (NH)-30 to Nathupur (project start point of Patna-Gayadobhi section of NH-83) of NH-83 in Bihar on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The total cost of construction including land acquisition is about Rs 7,000 million.
