Gour Road Tar Coat Private Limited and Shreeji Infraspace Private Limited have submitted bids for implementation of Ujani Dam Backwater Bridge Project [Chandgaon-Pomalwadi Road (MDR-65) (MDR-124)]. Bids for the same were invited by the Public Works Department, Maharashtra (PWD) in July 2026.
The completion period is 30 months.
The project involves Construction of High-Level Long Bridge over Ujani Dam Backwater, Over Baramati Lakadi Kalas Chandgaon Road MDR-65 From Chandgaon, Tal. Indapur, Dist. Pune to Pomalwadi Over MDR-124, Tal. Karmala, Dist. Solapur (Maharashtra State). Length of the project 3 spans of 80 M Tied Arch type + remaining viaduct of 960 M = 1200 meter. Approaches + Approach road on both sides. Total length of bridge = 1200Mt. Length of new alignment approach road = 1760Mt. Total length of widening in the approach Road = 6127 Mt. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,475.3 million.
